This, of course, is the right answer. Ignore the trolls. The Utes are in the PAC12. That is all that matters. Real Ute fans are not discouraged by the 7-5 season and a spot in the Sun Bowl. Instead, they are focused on the next 3 months of basketball and the task at hand of winning a second game. Best of luck to the Utes as they go for that second win. I will be rooting for them and enjoying every single day of the basketball season along with them. Tomorrow is another day!

You bet. We're taking the next step by only losing by 25 on Saturday!

This would certainly be a step in the right direction.

              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Of course they are upset; it's the rivalry. I expect there to be animosity and heckling and inappropriate fan behavior (except for DDD and his high road). Winning the game, however, is a completely different deal.

I'm thinking that we need to get creative about the goals we set. How about this: We see if we can get within 10 points of the spread? Baby steps....

Pete Thamel of the New York Times is reporting that the Big Ten and PAC-12 have announced all 12 teams of each conference will play each other every year OOC, starting in 2017.

One more nail in the coffin of Utah's in-state rivalries.

Not just Utahs. Imagine the schedule SC will have since they will play ND, 9 conference games and a big-10 team.

Wow that's cool. Is that in addition to the B10/ACC doing the same every year or a replacement? I love the B10-ACC challenge, but don't see a B10-P12 challenge being very competitive.

                                L.A. Times:

The Pac-12 and Big Ten conferences, Rose Bowl partners since 1947, today announced a massive new collaboration that will increase athletic competition across multiple platforms for all 24 schools. Plans include a preseason game at the Rose Bowl, possibly as soon as 2013 or 2014, involving schools from each conference. The goal by 2017 is for each Pac-12 school to play a Big Ten school on its non-conference football schedule.
