Did anyone pre-order their tickets through BYU? And if so, have they arrive yet? BYU is selling tickets for $60 plus fees and you sit in Sec S or R, if I'm not mistaken.



I'm seeing North End Zone online for $35 through private sellers. I'd rather be sitting on the sides.

What are others doing for tickets?

I ordered through Cougar Club and paid the $60 plus fees. They haven't arrived as of yet.

Section R, row 56 (I assume that is near the top). Not too bad of seats and from that angle it might be better to be up higher.

The ticket also says "No Passouts" on the back Wonder if they have a lot of trouble with that in the hotter games.

At 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, Mackey is much like Brunetti. Both can throw the ball, but one of their best assets is speed. Nutt has a history of using mobile quarterbacks during his 14-year Southeastern Conference coaching career, especially with Matt Jones at Arkansas and Jeremiah Masoli at Ole Miss.

Stoudt is much more of a pro-style passer. At 6-foot-4 and 222 pounds, he has the typical size associated with a quarterback. He's also got a terrific arm, but isn't the type of quarterback who can extend plays with his running ability.

So who would everyone prefer to see get the nod at Ole Miss? Not knowing anything about these QBs other that what's in this article, I think I'm leaning towards one of the smaller, more mobile guys: either Brunetti or Mackey. In the past I would be more worried about a mobile QB but this year I think we've got some good speed in our OLBs. I'm a little more worried about a big strong pocket passer that can attack our secondary.

The defense forced Randall Mackey into back-to-back interceptions: Sawyer took advantage of an apparent miscommunication between Mackey and a receiver, then Garbutt jumped in front of a pass thrown behind the receiver.

It was an erratic day overall for the quarterbacks: Zack Stoudt threw the interception to Brassell, and Barry Brunetti could not get the offense going during the final two-minute drill (he also threw an interception to Jackson during the team drills).

That is a lot of INTs.

The QBs continue to struggle,

Nutt admitted none of the quarterbacks stood out. Barry Brunetti had three passes batted down during a team drill.“About the same,” Nutt said. “I didn’t see much. Nobody really just jumped out. Got too many balls batted down for me today. I hope the defense was responsible, or the offensive line isn’t good enough right now, or the quarterbacks got to get the ball up higher. One of those things. We’re going to look at it tonight and see.”

The QBs continue to struggle,

and it continues. From the Ole Miss scrimmage today,

• None of the three quarterbacks looked sharp during the scrimmage. Barry Brunetti was 2-of-6 passing for 23 yards and an interception; Randall Mackey was 3-of-9 for 82 yards; and Zack Stoudt was 2-of-9 for 41 yards and a TD pass. David Lee said afterwards that he was frustrated only because he was hoping someone would announce themselves as the guy. Obviously, that didn’t happen. There’s another scrimmage scheduled for Wednesday, and another chance for the three to impress the offensive coordinator.
• Brandon Bolden and Jeff Scott did not participate, but Enrique Davis ran hard with two touchdowns from short distances.
• Kentrell Lockett had an interception after deflecting a Brunetti pass, and then rumbled 30-something yards before Brunetti made a form tackle at the 1.
• A lot of pressure from the defensive side of the ball. Carlos Thompson, Cameron Whigham, Bryon Bennett, C.J. Johnson and Wayne Dorsey all got in on tackles.
• Donte Moncrief had a 25-yard touchdown reception and tied with Ja-Mes Logan with two receptions each to lead the Rebels. A lot of guys rotated in and out.
• Nickolas Brassell played both sides of the ball but hobbled off the field. Didn’t get a chance to ask what happened there.
