I knew this was coming, I just knew it. Sadly, we never went to that Thai restaruant, but I shopped plenty of times at the Asian store next door.

And when marsupial says "hood," she means "hood."

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Wow! I had no idea. Sometimes you just don't know the effect you are having on people, especially in the cyperspace environment. Crazy. Absolutely crazy.

        Just, well, just wow. Whew.

Anyway, I hope you don't make that mistake again. Have a great time in Memphis. Too bad there are no "The Firm" tours. I've actually driven by the house where Tom Cruise and Jeanne Tripplehorn lived (before Jeanne went out to Utah and polygamy). I wish I could tell you how to get there, but it's back in some neighborhood in East Memphis.

It looks like I may be staying in Tupelo. What are the world-class restaurant experiences I can have there? Can I get some of their honey?

Also, how do you pronounce "Tupelo"?

Sean I'd say the best one came from Tupelo, Mississippi

And I know some people from Tupelo. Do you want me to ask about restaurants?
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

We didn't live in Hickory Hill. C'mon. When I said "hood" I meant Corky's, not the Thai restaurant. We lived really close to the Corky's on Poplar Ave. in East Memphis.

The Commissary is good, but it is in Germantown, a snobby suburb of Memphis, I avoided when I could.

Poplar Avenue - I've spent my share of time on US-72. I'm glad someone mentioned Corky's. Also, I have (down-to-earth, retiree) family in Germantown. For the record, not everyone there's a snob.

Short of the end zone. That was an ill-advised leap.
