There has been more than a little contention on this point as some Ute fans continue to insist that BYU will always be Utah's rival while others say repeatedly that they just don't care.Originally posted by kccougar View PostI didn't think people were allowed to mention the TDS on Utefans anymore.Col. If Wynn can play an entire season like he seems to play in bowl games he'll stay on that list right to the end. To be honest I'm not convinced that either he or Jake will seriously contend this year but it's awesome that underclassmen like Wynn and Heaps are being considered for such an award.Originally posted by Portland Ute View PostJordan Wynn on the Davey O'Brien Award watch list...

And he was right to say it, IMO. It doesn't matter really because until a true rival emerges in the PAC-12, BYU will remain Utah's rival despite their protests. It is the right thing to suggest to the new PAC-12 fanbase, however.Originally posted by Jarid in Cedar View PostIt was Stanford."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

The idea that Utah and BYU will no longer be rivals is one of the dumbest things to come out of the conference realignment.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostAnd he was right to say it, IMO.
