Heaps also made the list. Here is a post at UF.N with a Wynn-Heaps comparison:

Col. Klink: "Staff officers are so clever."
Gen. Burkhalter: "Klink, I am a staff officer."
Col. Klink: "I didn't mean you sir, you're not clever."

I didn't think people were allowed to mention the TDS on Utefans anymore.

There has been more than a little contention on this point as some Ute fans continue to insist that BYU will always be Utah's rival while others say repeatedly that they just don't care.

It's really a stupid notion. Pay no attention to the haters. Walk in the light.

The world keeps changing, but many refuse to acknowledge it.

If Wynn can play an entire season like he seems to play in bowl games he'll stay on that list right to the end. To be honest I'm not convinced that either he or Jake will seriously contend this year but it's awesome that underclassmen like Wynn and Heaps are being considered for such an award.

I like both of these kids. Good for them.

And he was right to say it, IMO. It doesn't matter really because until a true rival emerges in the PAC-12, BYU will remain Utah's rival despite their protests. It is the right thing to suggest to the new PAC-12 fanbase, however.

The idea that Utah and BYU will no longer be rivals is one of the dumbest things to come out of the conference realignment.
