IF we were to finish 9-4, we are Rose bowl bound(meaning 9th win was in CCG)Originally posted by cougjunkie View Post100% to the Rose Bowl and to the Sun Bowl? You are winning Pac-12 games over shitty teams. Every league has shitty teams and Utah has started the crappy part of their schedule.Originally posted by Flattop View PostChow has many great accomplishments. Taking nothing away from the national titles and Heisman winners, finding a way to win Pac-12 games without a quarterback is dang impressive.
Colorado, Arizona, Oregon State and Washington State are all bad teams. UCLA is not much better than the other four. Their average record is:
3.6-7.4.
UCLA is the only team with a winning record the other teams are not even close. On top of that UCLA only has a winning record because they played the shitty part of their schedule first. Congratulations Utah is a middle of the road Pac-12 team just like every one predicted. They have not exceeded expectations or underachieved. I guess being average is good for some people.
For all the crap BYU has received about their end of the season schedule they have actually played a tougher schedule than Utah.
Opponents winning percentage last 4 games for BYU: .454
Opponents winning percentage last 4 games for Utah: .333
Congrats on beating shitty teams you are supposed to beat.
On top of that BYU will probably get a better bowl opponent as well with either:
Houston (11-0)
Southern Miss (9-2)
Tulsa (8-3)*Banned*

This is comparing apples to oranges. Utah is playing Pac-12 opponents, BYU is playing WAC opponents and TCU (which helps that number) with that winning percentage."Take it to the Bank"

How is it apples to oranges? Utah is playing Pac-12 opponents that are just as bad as those WAC opponents. I actually think he needs to take a break and have Surfah do work for him more often. Surfah's efforts on Saturday are much better than junkie's current efforts. I mean really, arguing that BYU's SOS is better than Utah's? I expect better from junkie. Good trolling at least needs some small amount of truth to it.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostYour trolling is much more effective when it isn't tainted with envy.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Yes, Utah is in the weaker part of their schedule, but four weeks ago there was some concern on whether Utah would win more than one or two games in the Pac-12 this year.Col. Klink: "Staff officers are so clever."

Don't go with the common opponent thing because UCLA was waxed at home by Texas which only beat BYU by 1 point at home.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostUtah St. which is the 3rd place team in the WAC, lost to Colorado St at home. Oregon State lost at home to BYU and Sac State yet has Pac-12 wins over Arizona, Washington State and Washington (a team that crushed Utah).
Washington State lost at SDSU a team that lost at home to Wyoming. Wyoming lost 63-19 to that same Utah state team.
So Washington State is worse than SDSU, Wyoming and Utah State.*Banned*
