I've not heard anything, but who says Sitake is leaving? Or is this just junkie's wishful thinking?

Interesting. It's a lateral move for him, but if that's what he wants, all the best to him.Originally posted by The Notorious J.I.C. It would give him a salary increase (maybe doubling it), add to his AQ conference resume, and expand his network of contacts. Right now he's mainly got connections in Utah (and in Hawaii, with Chow, but that's still a Utah-based contact). So to me it seems like a no-brainer, on the surface at least. I'm told that for assistants, the contact network is everything because job security is even worse than for head coaches. I've met Sitake and he seems like a great guy. I hope he makes the right decision for him.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostInteresting. Ted Miller's final PAC-12 power rankings.
1. Oregon
2. USC
3. Stanford
4. Utah: Yep, the grind of a Pac-12 schedule really wore down the Utes. Yep, the Utes just couldn't handle it. But, with all due humility, how many other conference teams won four of their final five games and a bowl game? If you're looking for a sneaky-good team in the South Division next season, you might want to cast your gaze to Salt Lake City.
5. Washington
6. California
7. UCLA
8. Arizona
9. Arizona State
10. Oregon State
11. Washington State
12. Colorado“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

If CAL all of the recruits that have committed to them actually sign on February 1st. CAL is going to be a force in the next year or two.
Mcarthy, Payton, Zach Kline, Michael Barton, Cedric Dozier, Darius Powe, Shaq Thompson, Bryce Treggs are all 4 star or higher with Thompson and McCarthy being 5 star kids.
On top of that they are in the hunt still for Arik Armstead. This is by far the best class they have ever signed a top 10 class nationally.
If they can build on this they could become a big time threat in the Pac-12.*Banned*

Cal has always had players. As evidenced by this page. Here's a breakdown of how many players are in the NFL from a couple of schools in the PAC-12. Cal seems to be second only to USC.

Agreed, although when I looked at their full class it seems that the perception of their class due to so many of their commits announcing at the all-american games is a bit greater than the reality. Still, they've really got a good thing going over there.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostIf CAL all of the recruits that have committed to them actually sign on February 1st.
