Good chance Sitake joins Sark at UW. Nothing official on that yet.

Sark is also looking at Rocky Seto.
The only reason I like the Sitake move for Sitake is it gets him out of Whits shadow a bit and he has a chance to prove that he can run a defense on his own.

I think that is the biggest reason. Money will be some better, but showing that he can ride without training wheels is the main reason, imo

Not too shabby considering Utah played with primarily non-BCS recruits and sub-par QB play and depth.
It was a good year.

I am a big fan of the move. BYU needs to expand it's pool of prospective future HCs.
But does Sitake place football as his fifth priority? Hard to know if he hasn't been an assistant at BYU before promoting him to HC.

This little piece of hardware isn't too shabby for our first year in the PAC.
This will look good sitting in the new trophy room they are building. Another piece of flash for the potential future recruits to see as they walk through there.

The truth is that BYU is very fortunate to have Bronco who is a terrific coach. The applicant pool for that job is tiny and about an inch deep.
Pretty much. Though I am not sure Bronco is terrific. He is very good though. Any BYU fan should love Sitake moving on. And not because of the impact it has on Utah. If he is as successful there as he has been at Utah he becomes a very viable HC candidate for BYU which has a very shallow pool.
