    A few questions though:

    1. Did we get some product placement dollars from Chevy?
    2. Are all these kids actually rocking pickup trucks these days? Or is just supposed to send us back to a purer day when all football-loving kids drove pickup trucks and jeeps?
    3. Why is Ross positively glistening in sweat/rain while everyone else looks pretty chill?
    4. Apo being picked for this sort of suggests that it's accepted that he's the star and Hoff is the secondary attraction - is Hoff down w/ that? (Not that it matters if he's not.... Apo is clearly the mega talent here).
    5. Finally - Apo is way, way too open - who blew that coverage?

Looking for that shirt now myself.

Found some scrubs online for some of our doctors!

This has been a pretty exciting preseason. Obviously, there is much more to be excited about wrt the team than last but all this media/exposure that BYU is generating is really cool IMO. I am not a slogan guy, I prefer a blue shirt with an Oval Y, but "Rise Up" is one of the better slogans BYU football has had. IMO they would be well served to stick with it for a good 20 years before changing.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

20 years of rising up? Sheesh, Goat. Very unrealistic, IMO.

Well if you got the "BYU Athletics Annual Report 2010-11" that was sent sometime last week, they are full bore on RISE UP.

            And so it begins....

Our Journey. The next Chapter. A grand experiment.
Whatever you choose to call it...Whatever they may call it...it begins.
            Independence.
New Opponents. New Conferences. New Challenges.
After the twists, turns, dead ends and detours, we now embark.
Rise and shout, the Cougars are OUT.
            Out of our comfort zone.
            Out on our own.
            Out on a limb.
            And out into the unknown.
It's Time to write our own story.
And to determine our own future.
Independent, yet united, the course had been charted.
We all must stand. We all must lift. We all must give.
            As one.
The wheel is set in motion. Put your shoulder to it.
Yes, you have work to do.
            O Rise, all loyal Cougars.
For it will take everybody to make BYU somebody.
            There are no guarantees.
            We have only this moment.
One shot to silence the naysayers and remove the stigma.
One Chance to show the country who we are.
One moment to build an athletic program that rivals the nation's great ones.
Remembering our roots while we pursue our future.
            Will you miss history?
            No.
            Rise, all faithful.
Get set to spring, to arrive in force, to fill every seat, to support the White and Blue.
And to make our independence-unprecedented, successful, and complete.
Knowing it will take everyone to make BYU #1.
            Now is our moment.
            Our moment to cheer,
            to believe,
            to stand up,
            to show up,
            to support,
            to bolster, and
            to boost.
It is up to all of us.
            It is up to you.

            RISE UP.

I think that promo is pretty much taken from Invincible and yes I lied it too!

              • A couple of surprises on the 2 deep:

Wilson listed #2 behind Holt at TE. I like that.

Simote Vea listed at #2 behind Manu at right DE. Interesting.

Jordan Richardson must not be ready. Where is this two deep?

Wrubell was looking at it at the press conference and tweeting. I don't think it's been posted anywhere yet.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Wilson's my least favorite of the TE's. Not impressed at all. I think we're looking at another year of lackluster TE play. Hopefully the rest of the talent will allow these guys another year of maturity.

I predict you will be surprised.

Allow me to further explain. BYU is only planning to play 3 receivers very much in Hoffman, Apo and Jacobsen. Some slot time for Falslev but the rest will only play in case of injury. The best FB option is out and they have mentioned that they don't want to use Kariya at FB very much. When one reads the tea leaves one sees many two TE sets, IMO.

The more Holt is removed from his mission the better he gets and I still believe Wilson can be a weapon if he is utilized properly.

Who made that video? If BYU made it, I think I will call the football office directly and ask them. I wonder if it is player-only gear?
