I don't think PAC has ever asked either. I had to be strong to get over both of you not asking. I just knew you had each other on your lists.
Dude, after sending multiple tee shots at Thanksgiving Point in the direction of Tooele, I didn't dare ask. Besides, like all good relationships born of the '60s, our love doesn't need the formality of a ceremony or written commitment.

Thanks - I'm not in the league of some of CUF's more seasoned trolls but that one was pretty easy.

So there was no practice today and practice is closed tomorrow? Darn.

A quote from earlier in spring camp:

"That's probably the biggest question mark on the team, at this point. I really liked what I saw from Preston Hadley, the [Snow] junior college player. He's going to be on the field somewhere. Even after one day, I think that is clear. Travis Uale is back, and then Daniel Sorensen back from his mission. He played quite a bit before. We are really looking for one corner to emerge, and then some backup safeties." Bronco Mendenhall on the secondary.

A really good article by Dennis Dodd of CBS sports

              I particularly like this thought:
Holmes is the new face of BYU, the 43-year-old director of BYU Broadcasting's digital group. He came to the school a year ago after designing video games. Soon his division will launch the same iPhone and iPad apps that every BCS conference in the country is exploring as a new way to market their product. But this is one school. Fans will be able to watch their Cougars through their Xboxes and PlayStation 3s

Between Andy Katz and Dennis Dodds, SU is going to blow a servo,

"I feel liberated," said Mendenhall, possibly the deepest-thinking major-college coach in the land. "We can play anyone we want to play."

I must say I'm impressed with the forward thinking nature of BYU. One thing I do have to give them credit for, and this was a huge part in my field as well, but they do a good job of developing opportunities for students to do work for the university in preparation for their careers.

Thinking that they will have the ability to develop the infrastructure to watch games on iPad/iPhones and on xBoxes etc is pretty damn cool and i can't think of another school that has done it. And honestly the tie in with the LDS church provides the ability to leverage the added distribution of BYU Sports to things like General Conference, Firesides, etc and vice versa. There are few other schools that have that ability or type of resource to leverage.

                    Another good quote:

                    Spoiler for NSFALUF:
The Mormon faith that is, and will be, spread by BYU athletic success. Notre Dame is admittedly a powerful, influential Catholic institution but just a part of its faith. This place is the Mormon religion, its center. When BYU lines up on Saturday, it is the equivalent of the Irish playing in St. Peter's Square. So why not keep all the riches -- both heavenly and financial -- that spring from competing alone? The Jimmers (Fredette) and Tys (Detmer) will continue to come to BYU regardless, maybe more so now that ESPN is a partner.

                              Some tweets from Gman.

full contact team drills today...some big hits made by Jray Galea'i and Uona Kaveinga among others...Sorensen made a 45-yard FG
focus was on the run and with bluezone execution...Nelson hit Mathews for a 3-yard TD pass and Kariya scored on a run from 3-yards out
Austin Holt was the key to Kariya's TD run as he stale-mated his blocking responsibilities which sprang Kariya loose for the score
Heaps hit Jacobson with a 45-yard pass for the best completion of the day...Jacobson also uncharacteristically dropped a would-be TD pass
Nelson paid homage to the 80s with his jersey tucked-up to fully reveal his mid-section and a headband...Nelson has looked good so far
hard to imagine this year's defense not being extremely good against the run with Kav at mike and the amount of quality NT-types at DL
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

According to Bronco, Fandango and the nose tackles are looking good.

STRENGTH IN THE MIDDLE: Due to season-ending injuries to nose tackles Romney Fuga and Jordan Richardson last season, the defense found itself extremely thin in the middle. It would be very surprising if BYU found itself in a similar situation this coming season, however. They look to be much deeper with the addition of USC transfer Hebron Fangupo, among other factors.

"Hebron (Fangupo) is a very, very good football player," Mendenhall said.

"He's strong, he's physical and I'm certainly glad that he's here. Travis Tuiloma and he, in addition to Romney Fuga when he comes back, gives us three nose tackles that are potential starters. That's including Jordan Richardson, who was a starter when Romney went down, and Eathyn (Manumaleuna), who was the starter when Jordan went down."
