You're telling me little Max Hall shoved Sylvester to the ground and lived to tell about it? I believe that as much as I believe that during yesterdays celebration, one of Utah's players waited until Kyle wasn't looking and sucker-punched him in the back of the head. Everyone saw it.

Tiger Woods had a bad year last year, and to make his personal life the issue is just plain silly.

I'm not hung up about the fact that it was probably the wrong call. I think the camera angles were lousy and made it a more difficult call, but they get it wrong sometimes. That is the game of football. BYU had lots of chances to win notwithstanding that call, including the last play of the game.

It was just karma for SDSU. Bad calls happen. We were on both side of this type of thing this year. Both calls were huge but they were not the deciding factors.

Does anyone know what the ute players did before the game that has the media riled up as well? Was it just the normal tough guy shit that they always do getting blown up since media has their panties in a wad over good sportsmanship?

Yeah I heard they just came over to BYUs sideline and the teams had to be seperated. Seems to happen with every rivalry, except Miami and Florida International the boys from Dade County actually throw down.

Utah went over to the numbers near BYU's sidelines and got in their face after they ran out onto the field. Tame, especially compared to recent years when BYU would do the Haka.

For the record: A chunk of the Ute fan base is a bunch of idiots. They are embarrassing to the great majority of Utah fans. We are trying to do something about them but it will take time, and a big part of the problem is embedded in the culture of Utah. It's one thing I don't miss about living there - the tendency of some stupid, immature people who have a beef with the LDS Church to take that out on symbols of the Church, like BYU sports teams. I just think that to make those idiots the issue after an epic football game is silly.

The report I got from my daughter, who is in the BYU band, is the Ute fans were a little more civilized this year. Instead of getting beer and other stuff thrown on her like the last time she was at RES she only got mooned and flipped off this year. This might be considered an improvement.

This was yet another great game in the rival series. It would have been better if BYU won but sometimes the dragon wins...
