        Interesting, I think Pitt was originally slated for 10/8.

        Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

          Rumors of Jackwhizz going to the NFL would be huge for Utah as I think that means James would give up his medical RS year. The Beavos could be in trouble next year. If that game goes from ? to W, Utah has a good chance of going 7-5.

            Woo-hoo! Las Vegas Bowl here we come!

            Seriously, which games do you think are the 5 losses?

              @USC
              @BYU
              @Pitt
              @Arizona

              I think you lose those 4. I think you win @Wazzu, Washington, UCLA, Colorado, Montana St. I think OSU, @Cal and ASU are toss up games. Many in this thread thought Utah got a favorable schedule because they avoid Stanford and Oregon next year, but you play your 5 hardest games on the road. That isn't a great schedule.

              If you move OSU into the W column, then 7-5 should be in the bank.

                It does look like a tough schedule, but I'll never concede a loss to BYU in advance. I also think Pitt is winnable.

                  Pitt is a very winnable game next year. Pitt loses a few of their best players to the draft from a team that was just an average team this year. They will have a new head coach. That could be a good thing and could be a bad things. Who knows if they will bring someone in that will want to change out the entire staff and run a whole new offense. They also have a horrible q.b. and rely heavy on the run game. That is what Utah defends best.

                  Also, it seems like all BYU fans have chalked up a win vs. the Utes next year in Provo. Not sure I would agree with that one but to each his own.

                    I think 7-5 is the low bar. I think the Pitt and BYU games are winnable. @Cal and vs ASU aren't gimmes either. 9 wins seems plausible though.

                      I don't know what to expect from Arizona either. I just read that they have to replace their whole offensive line. If Foles bolts, they are going to be rebuilding.

                        A horrible QB in his first game of the year against Utah and yet they still almost won that game. Since the Utah game Sunseri has been pretty good. He is 36th nationally in Pass Efficiency at 140 per game. If that Sunseri shows up next year at home Utah loses this game by double digits.

                          If Foles leaves that game becomes a toss up.

                            Yes the game was close but let's be honest, the only reason Pitt was in the game was because of two fumbled kicks. Other than that Pitt did nothing.

                              Of course, there is no chance that Utah had anything to do with Sunseri's performance in the game.

                                Considering it was his first career start and he progressively got better and Utahs secondary got worse as the season went on. Utah does not deserve much credit.
