I think the special teams are a push. Curious as to why you think TCU has the advantage in special teams.

TCU has an advantage on defense. Small one.
Do you guys really think Smithson is as good as Kerley in the return game? Shaky is a great story and has been productive but against the two average teams he has played he has not done jack. He is not fast and to be honest he is not real "shaky". Kerley is much better and TCUs speed on special teams will negate Shakys impact.

Is this for sure? He hasn't been granted the 5th year back yet has he?He has only played in 4 games this season however he did play in OSU's fifth game of the season.

Move along, Ute fans, and don't bother tapping the glass with this one.

It's tough to do anything in the punt game when you only keep taking the ball away from the other team before it can punt, as was the case with AFA. Also, I would call ISU average and Shaky had several great returns in that game.

Teams kick away from Smithson. Same thing used to happen to Steve Smith after he had some incredible returns early in the year.

Here's some good news- James Rodgers qualifies for a medical hardship from the NCAA since he has played in 30% or less of the Beavers games ...

So it is still to be determined. If he were at Utah I would say it was good as gold that he would be back next year.

Come on now, junkie, I said that Chris Hill said in early September that at that time, it looked like USC might play at RES for the first home PAC12 game, but that remained to be settled and no one could bank on it. Check out the posts. You can get me on lots of stuff but not on that. You miserable vomitous mass.

Hey, I get to drive to the Coliseum to watch the Utes play next fall. You guys can't imagine how cool that will be for me. Triplet, you are welcome to sit by me, although I don't think Utah fans will get very choice seats.

That was JIC's analysis, not DDD's. You'll have to take it up with Jarid.

I wasn't "taking it up" with anyone. I was commenting.

Um, maybe we can borrow Andrew Rich and have him go headhunting, Andrew Rich-style.

Most visitors get horrible seats. Up in the corner near the Peristyle.

Utes should have a nice experience. Coliseum is one of the most historic sports venues in the country (probably THE most historic now that Yankee Stadium is gone) and tailgating on game day is lots of fun. If the Utes are ranked high, there should be some buzz for this one.

As next season approaches, I will put together a good Game Day guide for all the CUF Ute brethren and sisters that will be in attendance. Lots to see and do on campus on Game Day.
                                Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
