Good point. Based on this, I predict Heaps will be all conference his sophomore year.

Interesting that he mentioned missionary before marriage. Sounds like mixed messages.

4th and 18 was pretty decisive.

I figured BYU would be 9-3/8-4 before the season. Now becoming bowl eligible depends on beating a resurgent Aztec team at home.

Beck shredded us. With a typical Utah defense, we could've slowed Beck down some. We wouldn't have made him look like Max Hall, that's for sure.

Collie was a great player and seems like a good guy. I cheer for him now in the NFL.

I feel the same way. It makes me wish Steve Smith was in a stable offense. He doesn't even have to have a prolific offense with a HOF QB, just a stable one.

                              Now you're just trolling.

That was a 55 yard pass while running to his right, off his back foot. Granted, it wasn't a laser, but it certainly wasn't an easy throw.

I thought BYU would be about 8-4. It's funny because I had actually started to believe that BYU was at a point where they could plug new players in and still have at least an 8-4 season. I don't expect Alabama type of reloading, but 8-4 with this schedule should be easy.

Anae's playcalling isn't good. Where are the 10-20 yard pass plays? Right now, it's either a 4 yard pass or a 50 yard pass. I think an offense similar to Stanford's is attainable with our recruiting pool. Enough of these fat lineman, too. We need some athletes on the lines.
