And I think LSU played at ASU within the past 3-4 years. But that is pretty much it for SEC games west of the Mississippi (Texas not included) in the last 10 years.

I have it on pretty good source that Tennessee was pulling out and when Chip heard he went into the next press conference and basically shamed Tennessee saying something to the tone of "When teams back out of their part of the contracted series it makes it really hard to play good teams" it worked to keep Tennessee game on the books for Oregon but I've been told don't expect to see the Ducks/Vols play in any sport for a long time because of it.

LSU also played a H-H with Washington and Cal recently. They seem to be willing to keep a deal.

      • We had a deal with LSU on even terms under Crowton and we backed out.

That was pretty dumb. We should have just played them instead of Boise.

Correct about the SEC not willing to travel west. But that may not have always been the case. Nebraska had series against LSU, Alabama, and Auburn in the 1970s/1980s. The next SEC team on Nebraska's schedule is Tennessee for the 2026 season. That's right 2026. The players who will suite up for that game are currently in elementary school.

            I
Tennessee had the last laugh by not showing up anyway

Except, of course, all Mizzou and aTm home games, those are all west of the Mississippi.

Shit. I was expecting that they would and now they're not.

Only this time it's Warner and or Takitaki that bail us out when our offense sputters.

                    • Looks like Idaho St is gone so BYU will need to replace them on the home schedule.

Based on reading of the BYU-Mizzou details, looks like UNLV will get Idaho St next yr, Mizzou helps find a team to replace ISU on BYU sked.

Taysom will use 2015 to exact revenge upon those football Gods who have been so cruel to him.

im expecting entirely different results than the prior seasons in which Taysom carried the ball more than he threw it!
