Eh...at this point I'd settle for a bad schedule and an undefeated season. At least then we'd be talked about.

East Carolina will be a fun game for our Ward and much of the stake. When BYU goes to Greenville that will be a weird crowd. ECU fans are known to be hard core and wild.

Interesting quote from Saban about why they schedule FCS teams. Poor Alabama. No one wants to play them home and home either.

"I don't know that we have a choice sometimes," Saban said. "We can't just call people up and say, 'We want to have a game.' It's not like setting up a golf game. I call up three of my buddies and say you guys want to play and you play Sunday morning. Then everybody says, 'Yeah, I can play.' You ever try to schedule a game? Do you know (what) goes into that? It's very difficult to do home-and-home with quality teams. To be honest with you, you almost have to buy games to get people to play you.

"Outside of the neutral-site game we do and our conference games, we struggle to schedule three other games."

          LOL

Poor, picked on Nick Saban. They've got it tough.

Gone are the days when the Bear would schedule: Nebraska (9-3), Missouri (8-4), USC (12-1), and Washington (7-4) for non-conference games in the same season (1978) and still play for the national championship.

Do Tom and the boys know about this?!

Wait a minute, does Nick Saban not consider us a quality team?

Alabama owes BYU that return game that they bought out. Let's say we schedule 3 home and homes and call it even.

Only 5 home games in 2015?

Closing the stadium early for renovation the following year.

LOL. This announcement came the same day as Bronco expressed his love for the Big 12:

                        [...]
The irony is his comments were published the same day when BYU announced a home-and-home series with UCLA in 2015-16, adding to the Cougars’ extensive Pac-12 bookings. Athletic director Tom Holmoe has done a nice job of scheduling with Pac-12 schools, considering those programs play only three nonconference games each year.

Many of BYU’s upcoming opponents are attractive, although this year’s home schedule hardly fits that description and the 2015 schedule is too front-loaded, with trips to Nebraska, Michigan and UCLA and a home date with Boise State — all in September.

there is no irony there. B12 teams schedule H/H's with other conferences, including the Pac.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
