I'm surprised you could even type that with those trembling hands.

BTW, did you feel an earthquake this morning? I'm out of town but my wife said there was one just before 7.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Damn. i always miss the earthquakes. I was in my car about that time. I will ask Mrs. JIC if she felt anything.
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."

Too bad 11 of the 12 SEC teams didn't succumb to this habit last year (however SEC powerhouse Vanderbilt was the lone SEC team that did listen to your sage scheduling advice).

Here's a sampling of games that will be taking place on November 27, 2010:

            Georgia vs. Georgia Tech

            USC vs. Notre Dame

            Florida vs. Florida State

Why the hell are these teams doing this?
Again, what does Utah have to gain by playing BYU in November? Nothing.

I'm guessing the dollar figure would have to be pretty high for the Utes to agree to taking on a non-BCS school in November.

LOL...when I reread my post, I realized that mine was even worse.

Ummm...a sold out stadium? Continuation of a rivalry? Something to play for once you lose relevance in your new conference?

I'm just glad you guys still hang out with us. And care so much about rumors about our future.

I think Dr. Hill has already thrown you guys a bone by saying he'd like to keep the rivalry going. Just accept it will be in September. It would be too hard to get excited for a BYU game with the Rose Bowl looming overhead.

It's not that hard to find somewhere to watch the Rose Bowl.

I'm guessing most Ute fans will be watching it from the stands.

Fine, let's just call off of the whole rivalry, these games are utterly meaningless.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I think Arizona and ASU's fans would like to also be watching it from the stands. 30 years, 60 chances between the two teams -- one Rose Bowl bid.

My favorite part of this whole thing is that it has brought out the Ute fans that are clearly infatuated with everything BYU.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Unlike BYU fans who had no opinions on the Pac 12.
