  • Cool.

BYU in the Mountains/Plains Division with uofutah and Boiiseee. I'm actually happy Boiiseee is included.

Where will it end? Right here, says Sports Illustrated. We brought this exercise in greed to its logical conclusion: a 40-school alliance, split into two 20-team megaconferences that are fully weaponized versions of the Big Ten and SEC and are aligned with the highest broadcast bidders.

    . . . . . .

    Mountain/Plains Division

    Utah (20)
    Kansas State (25)
    BYU (29)
    Boise State (31)
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Seatgeek seems relatively straightforward. A fair amount of nosebleed inventory available for SUU, endzones and East side especially. It's been a while since I've been to a day game at LES, west side seats worth the extra cost to avoid second half sun in eyes?

No idea. Been on the east side for 32 years.

I wont worry about it then. Now it'll just be a battle against myself to see how close to the game i will wait to buy.

Seatgeek has some steep ticket purchase fees, but ive really only used ticketmaster for baseball ticks recently so maybe I'm just out of the loop.

I haven't sat on the west side much. The sun will get in your eyes on the east side. You will want a baseball cap or something else with a brim and sunglasses. Sunglasses weren't enough for me on the sunny days over there.

            • I’ve tried to purchase tickets for the Iowa State game on seatgeek probably 5-6 times over the last week and a half. Lower bowl west side. Everything goes through initially, but then I get an email from them a few hours later saying they weren’t able to fill my order and have refunded my money. I’m not sure what’s going on and haven’t taken the time to call them, but my first impression of them has not been a smooth one.

Yeah, you need a hat. So you can do this:

                • I was going to wait to get tickets but it looks like the east and west side seats are getting snatched up. I don't think I can stomach waiting until game day needing 4 tickets.

Got tickets. Now I'll just focus my unhelpful anxiety towards parking.

Excellent. I was about to suggest you become a MissState fan.

                          • Just curious, now that we are in a conference again, are ya'll invested in following our B12 conference teammates? Are you rooting for them in their OOC games? Are you following B12 news in general? Or, are you only locked on BYU?

As far as B12 power rankings go, ESPN's FPI still has us last with a total rank of 70. Houston is the next worst with a rank of 70. Texas is #1 coming in at 7 overall. However, ESPN still has Alabama #1 after losing to Texas, so that really says a lot about their rankings, IMO. Heartland College Sports has us in 12th, above West Virginia and Houston. Not suprisingly, they have Texas #1 after defeating Alabama. Their rankings are a lot more subjective.

                            • I'm paying more attention to the Big 12 than I have in recent years. It would be fair to say that I am at least mildly rooting for most all of our new conference mates.

TCU being the exception this year with Utah joining them next year.
