I'm speculating. With the Utah stuff, I speculated until I heard something then I told you guys I had heard something. All I've heard about BYU is that the legal department is working late hours and I've observed that they are being closed mouthed. The possible items that could cause that reaction are many, I speculate on only one.

UNT has very good jazz but not so good football. They are hoping the WAC will take them to replace BSU. They wouldn't be on my Big 12-2 poaching list.

I do agree that Texas (aka. Big 12) wants to shop around. There is no rush. I would still rank BYU high on the poaching targets for the Big 12 if they are going to expand any time soon.
