Interesting, BYU's legal department has been putting in long hours and are very tight-lipped about what they are working on other than to tell me it is related to football. I assume they are referencing conference deals or conference expansion. Truthfully it could be anything but I like to think it relates to conferences.

Maybe they found something in the MWC bylaws to get $10M out of Utah for leaving the conference.

I don't know, I just know conference expansion talk was the subject and long hours by the BYU legal department was a branch off of the topic. Who knows, maybe something will happen.

Just like there was in the recent U of U move to the Pac-12, there is more here than meets the eye. I think the Big 12 is saying they aren't going to expand. But Nebraska is saying "Missouri made me do it." aTm is saying "The SEC wants me." Texas is saying "We want to go to the Pac-100. There has been as much misinformation as information in this whole thing.

If they were saying nothing, that would be evidence that something was happening. That they keep saying they are not expanding is also evidence that something is happening. Basically no matter what happens, that is evidence that something is happening.
