Hmm… too bad you don’t have a dollar because I might take that bet:Originally posted by All-American View PostIf I had a dollar I had to bet on it, I'd bet the Big 12 will not add any PAC teams this year.

Of course, the Big12 is scared… of Oregon and UW going to the B1G before they bag them.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Post

Lol. Oregon would be insane to sign a GoR right now.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

The only way any Pac schools go to the Big 12 is if UW, Stanford and the Ducks go to the B1G and leave them behind. UW, Stanford, Cal would never condescend to the Big 12. Never in a million years. Hell will freeze over first. NEVER. There's a chance the Four Corners schools would go to the Big 12 but only as a last resort. But they would rather be with UW, Stanford, and Cal. At this point, it would be an act of surprising treachery if the west coast schools left behind the Four Corners.Originally posted by All-American View PostIf I had a dollar I had to bet on it, I'd bet the Big 12 will not add any PAC teams this year. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

This is all so Mickey Mouse. Where are the Wall Street firms representing the B1G and the LA Schools? Was there even a term sheet? Has anything been signed? I'd like to see the pro formas. Are there any? $100million pay out. Who says? it's not guaranteed.
And everyone (who cares, a small group) is acting like there's soooo much money at stake. The money is peanuts to these universities. Outside of the sports offices they'd just as soon divest the sports programs, I guarantee.
Sports writers are enjoying this, but they're so dumb. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

An act of treachery you say? Certainly nothing like that had happened over the past year.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Post

I never thought Texas would condescend going to the SEC. Never thought B1G schools like Michigan and Northwestern would condescend to allow Nebraska into the B1G.
Perhaps that explains why the SEC and B1G are in the position they are in. The PAC-12 had their chance to expand but would not condescend to admit BYU even though it would have strengthened the conference. Likewise, the Big12 stayed pat after Colorado and Nebraska departed when they could have added BYU. ...woulda, shoulda, coulda...“Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. Bingo. The P12 arrogance, so perfectly illustrated by SU’s posts, is what is most likely to destroy them in the end. And they will deserve every bit of it.Originally posted by Paperback Writer View PostI never thought Texas would condescend going to the SEC. Pretzel logic. Condescend to the SEC from the Big 12? Aside from football, the SEC has had some strong research institutions. And no wacky religious schools. The B1G invited Nebraska before the AAU kicked it out. The B1G's due diligence is always shoddy.Originally posted by Paperback Writer View PostI never thought Texas would condescend going to the SEC. Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
