    • When my wife decided to go on a sister's trip to Waco,TX for her 40th birthday, I was super confused. I wasn't very familiar with Chip and Joanna Gaines or their setup.

      • Come on, people. It is a 90-minute drive from Waco to Austin. Catch the game in Waco, but stay in Austin. Problem solved.

FIFY. The People's Republic of Austin is full of hairy legged women and liberal fruitcakes... You don't want to go there.

          • Just dawned on me that the 4 new schools, are some of the best destinations in the new B12.

            1) Orlando
            2) Houston
            3) Ft. Worth (Dallas)
            4) Provo (SLC)
            5) Waco
            6) Cincy
            7) Morgantown
8-12) Ames, Manhattan, Lawerence, Lubbock, Stillwater

That's a pretty lame list of places to go; BYU should definitely want in on the conference, but Orlando as the #1 destination?

              • Lawrence is only 45 mins from KC. KC is interesting enough with good eats

                  Underrated movie.

I will absolutely go to Allen Fieldhouse at least one time, though not sure what else there is to do in Lawrence. Baylor? maybe worth another visit to Torchie's Tacos. Lubbock, Morgantown, Ames? Hard pass.
This is where I am as well. Independence has been awesome. I've been to so many awesome venues!

Do we really have to explain why Mormons would think Orlando is a top destination?

I don't disagree with any of those statements. The P12 is both stronger at the top and a lot deeper in the middle

                                10) Pullman. Unless you've been there, its hard to tell you how remote and out of the way it is.
