BYU would never be able to beat a QB like Heaps, too much talent.

Okay, we get what you're doing.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I'm really curious. I mean, what would it be like to have to travel to these places??

There are no commercial flights to Ames. There is, however, a commercial flight to Provo. Frontier has a daily flight between PVU and DEN.

For KSU, Manhattan actually has a commercial airport with flights to/from Chicago and DFW.

Isn't it clear? Viking hates the Big 12, absolutely abhors it. He loves BYU as an independent because it means he won't have to figure out how to get to Ames or Manhattan!

                      • Kansas City is one of my all time favorite cities. Columbia...good thing they are in the SEC.

Ames and Des Moines are similar to Provo and SLC. Except the airport and capital are in Des Moines and one takes the highway 40 minutes north to Ames.

Norman and Oklahoma City are similar as well. OK city has the captial and airport and one takes the highway less than 30 minutes south to Norman.

Manhattan...well... fly into JFK or Laguardia and take the subway to where all the big buildings are. If Viking thinks poorly of Lubbock, can't wait to see his reaction to the Little Apple (Manhattan, KS). Or Stillwater, OK for that matter.

Lawrence is a very nice college town - may favorite of the bunch.

Norman is a hole. Edmond is much, much better.

                              This is a fabulous post.

                              We are not in.

Wow, no love for Norman. I actually liked it out there. The Campus is top notch for Oklahoma (other than all the dead grass I saw, but it was August when I was there... and so hot and humid that I got a good idea of what hell will be like). I had a good time there while stopping in for work on the campus, but I was young and enjoying the... "scenery" on Campus, so my memories could be skewed.
