                        Certainly could, but I don't think it will. I have to believe that this is a push by ESPN and Fox to get the Big 12 to stop at 12 teams rather than 14. Additionally, ESPN and Fox already agreed to the terms, so I am not really sure how they can stop expansion should the Big 12 actually want to expand.

                            Nope. I think it's more logical that they at least add 2 teams but going all the way to 14 is likely out of he question now

                                        Fox and ESPN are just starting the negotiation process for expansion. The next move is OU and UT will threaten to join the SEC, B1G, or PAC-X. Then Fox and ESPN will give in and pony up the money for the expansion.
