Sorry, IPU. I agree with majority on this issue: weird rules about keeping Sunday pure won't keep BYU outside of the BIG12.

The big thing keeping BYU out of the BIG12 is the sorry state of the women's gymnastics "program."

No Sunday play being the obstacle is a euphemism for anti-Mormonism which is very prevalent in the Big 12 in all its manifestations. BYU will never get in the Big 12.

You will certainly know if you are wrong if BYU gets in, but how will you know if you are right if they don't? If BYU does not get in they will likely not talk about the reasons. There are plenty of reasons BYU might not get in and all of them have to do with football. If we don't get in SU will will point to icky CULTure, you will point to Sunday play, but what it really comes down to is if BYU is more attractive in football than its counterparts.
