Yes, but the current generation of fans also booed their team once. It may have happened 6 years ago, but it's effects are still felt.

      that's simply not true.

I learned from Dick Harmon that Boulder, Colorado was part of the Axis of Evil and the epi-center for Anti-Mormonism.

      • And some of them have booed Jake Heaps this year. We definitely don't have the most intelligent fan base, but I think the attendance might not drop as drastically as some here are assuming.

Edit-this is a response to Omaha.

Thanks for outing our football coach, Harmon. See if Bronco ever let's you into the inner circle again.

Yeah. I thought that was obvious. Reading comprehension fail.

            Wilner Agrees

I would love to believe that we have some master plan to try to make the Big 12 work, but it doesn't look that way. The anger has subsided but the confusion and extreme disappointment are still there for me. What are we doing?
I believe that the Big 12 and BYU were in negotiations and I am not convinced that has really stopped. I think BYU is good about keeping it quiet. The Big 12 has to add two more teams in they want to expand, which I think they do, and 3 more if Mizzou bolts. When that time comes I believe BYU to the Big-12 makes the most sense. I don't really believe BYU is playing as hard to get as they make out just that I don't think Wilner really knows what is going on as much as many other think he does. In fact I tend to align with Triple D that nobody really knows. Hence, I am left with my logic that leaves the Big-12 looking for two-three schools and that I think BYU is the best fit out there.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I think you are clearly right that Wilner doesn't know.
But you are probably wrong to believe that BYU makes the most sense. I presume you thought that before the B12 invited TCU? Me too.

                It did?

I believe there is plenty of room for interpretation. Have you ever picked up ribs to go? They cool down very fast. Unless you live across the street from the mexican rib place, odds are they will not be too warm when you get them home and you're going to have to warm them up.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I think it's still a very real possibility. For all we know the negotiations could be ongoing or Cecil could be laughing at all of us from some back room as was suggested the other day. But I'm done hoping. If an invite ever comes our way I'll be pleasantly surprised.

                  • BYU will be in the B12 by July of 2018. Mark it down.

I think I long advocated TCU to the Big 12. I referenced the SWC days.

I suppose I was just inserting my own biases in to my interpretation. Maybe it was only obvious to me. And maybe I'm wrong.

Unfortunately by then it will be the MWC v2.0 after OU, Texas and OSU leave.
