I'll go ahead and assume you haven't been atheist for very long. You'll learn before long that your current tactics are only effective in feeding your ego, and are actually counterproductive in getting anyone to agree with you. Mostly, you'll learn that you're not special for realizing some pretty obvious things, and stop having a lack of belief in gods be such an important part of your identity.

Don't get me wrong; it's fun to pester believers on occasion, but moderation is good.

I get a kick out of a bunch of internet posters who seem to think they know way more about negotiations than administrators of large athletic programs and multi-billion dollar religious organizations. In one moment, our church has given itself up to savvy businessman; in the next, they're idiots who can't find their collective ass.

Let's hold off on the criticisms (or the conclusions) until we know all, or any, of the facts. I can't see a single good reason NOT to maintain complete silence on this and it's ludicrous to think that conversations aren't taking place. All BYU has shown to this point is an uncanny ability to contain leaks.

Maybe the Big-12 was just trying to get another team from the west to not make BYU such an island. Those damn MWC teams just hate us and will spite themselves before allowing BYU to get what they want. Pick up the pitchforks and start marching on Colordao Springs!
