Geez at least wait until the Big 12 says they're done before you guys go jumping off a ledge. Good news awaits us. Join me in the pumpkin patch.

      Do I trust this?

..sounds good, but can I trust that BYU AND TCU have received official invites and have accepted?

The only hope is if Missouri is invited by the SEC to balance out the A&M move.

Realistically, however, you have to think that the SEC would prefer to stay in the south east, and probably poach a team from the ACC. I don't know the political dynamics of the Florida schools, but would they try to take Miami or Florida State?

I'm now wondering if the Pittsburg/Syracuse invite was a preemptive move by the ACC believing that the SEC would come sniffing around.

Is it possible that the invited schools are controlling how much is leaked regarding their status? I can see BYU asking everyone (including other B12 schools) to keep things totally quiet until its official official, whereas I can see TCU wanting the publicity. Just a thought.

BYU just has to pray about their invite first. TCU said "yes" before saying "hello" when they answered the phone.

This is my hope as well but I fear we are grasping at straws here.

Even if this were true, wouldn't the Big 12 at least announce there was an invite made? Wouldn't all the talking heads on Twitter rush to make the same announcement? I just don't buy it. Either an invite has not been extended yet, or BYU blew it. Either way, I'm feeling sick.

I disagree that these are the only two options. Or that they are even the most likely two options.

My question is this. IF BYU has a pulse on their fans, and their fans desires and wishes to get into a BCS conference, wouldn't they be wanting to work with the fans, and help them out by releasing some sort of statement?

Why wouldn't BYU want to step up to the plate and say, "We have been invited to the Big XII Conference based on "X", "Y", and "Z" or whatever.

Gah! Why so closed on the subject from BYU?
