Huh. Apparently SEC country wants Mizzou.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Yeah. They need advance notice to put out quality production, if they can. IIRC, the OSU game is being broadcast on Fox, with BYU's help. You can't run a quality operation if you don't know which weeks you are broadcasting and which weeks you are not.Originally posted by Joe Public View PostAre you saying BYUTV needs more than two or three weeks' notice to be able to cover a game? They had only about a week's notice regarding the Oregon State game, so it seems they can. Maybe I'm not understanding what you're trying to say.

This is tragic. With Mizzou slowing down its exit and having a year to decide this will creep along for another year.Originally posted by LiveCoug View Post

I posted the tweet here as a source of hope. Dick gives a subtle (or not so subtle) hint there.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostThis is tragic. With Mizzou slowing down its exit and having a year to decide this will creep along for another year.

I got that, hence it being tragic. Clearly, Harmon is a shrill for the administration. While I actually believe what Harmon is indicating, a credible argument could be made that Harmon is being used to bolster those losing faith. I am sure Holmoe read some of the letters many folks sent him this week and I am sure that the kids calling to beg for money from alum and boosters were made aware that the natives are a weebit restless concerning conference re-alignment. Harmon's morsel of hope could be interpreted as buying time for the admin to rearrange the decks on the titanic and keep us all interested enough to join the CC again next year and buy season tickets.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostI posted the tweet here as a source of hope. I have been clear that I see the Big-12 and BYU with little other option than to find a way to make it work. However, if somehow they don't and this indy situation develops the way I think it will, I will not pay my dues or buy the season tickets. It is a long damn drive from Idaho and even though it fired me up to no end to watch my kids stomp their feet and scream at crucial 3rd downs against UCF, I have no interest in buying 6 tickets when I only want to go to 2 games. 3 games is a must and if they get to 4 good home games a year I would be enternally happy.
Regardless, the cynic in me could see the talking heads bringing in the dick and tell him to go out and make the pussies happy. Most dicks follow that advice.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

The one thing I've learned from this fiasco is that LiveCoug is not who we thought he was. We all assumed LiveCoug was:

Now it is clear that as hard as he tries to hide it for fear of being let down, in his heart of heart he's a lot closer to this than he lets on:

Hitler representing BYU makes me queasy. Isn't there another funny video clip someone could subtitle that doesn't involve the most evil man in history representing BYU?
Viking's despondency is my optimism. First, he'll not be here for a long time. Second, he's wrong to be so worried. I believe we'll be making annual trips to his homeland to watch either the horns or the hornies as soon as next year

I know it's a joke. Mel Brooks vs. a dramatic portrayal aren't really comparable, now are they?Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostRelax, Clueless. Hitler-related material can be very funny.

There's got to be something as dramatic but not involving Hitler (Viking's grandfather had to flee Norway in Dec 1939 as his mother was of sephardic descent), right??
Back to the main point...I want to partay in Texas next year!
