The Louisville Cardinals are a slam-dunk sure thing future member of the Big 12. The same can almost be said for BYU. But the Big 12 will wait for Clemson, FSU and a few other ACC schools to decide before extending a formal invitation to Louisville and BYU.

The Big 12 has both Louisville and BYU’s applications for membership in-house.

Lol, BYU turned in their resume application, even though there is not an opening at this time. Hopefully, the B12 won't call any of BYU's former employers for a reference.

They included the completion of an exit agreement between the Big East and West Virginia, the expansion of the Big East to include more football programs, and the agreement between the Big XII and the TV networks. The first two have occurred, and a TV deal appears to be near....

...If the deal goes through, each school would receive approximately $21 million a school annually. But, but yes, even more if the Big 12 expands to 11 or 12 teams. Guess who is said to be first in line if that occurs, followed closely by Brigham Young University.

I guess we will find out how good of friends we really are with ESPN. ESPN tells the Big12 to include us or ESPN tells the Big12 they want to have BYU stay independent so ESPN can use them as a filler for their blank programming slots.
