Can't figure out where else to post this. Looks like MWC and C-USA are dissolving to form a brand-new conference. Personally, this makes me fee a bit sad.

Would it be out of place here to observe that the article lists the significant losses of the MWC and does not mention Utah? If so, I won't do it.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostCan't figure out where else to post this. Looks like MWC and C-USA are dissolving to form a brand-new conference. I feel the same way. For a brief period of time, it looked like the MWC was on the verge of becoming something really good for everybody. I'm a bit nostalgic about the idea of what the conference almost was...Originally posted by LA Ute View PostCan't figure out where else to post this. Too bad it had to die this way after teams like BYU and Utah poured so much sweat equity into it.Last edited by shoganai; 02-13-2012, 01:04 PM.

Wow... so close to something great... and now gone. A victim of it's own success I guess. Not to mention bad management at times. But seeing what the Big 12 is going through, I'm beginning to think disfunction in conferences is more common than not.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostCan't figure out where else to post this. So nobody took the "Tom Holmoe is hinting at Conference affiliation" bait like they are on Cougarboard huh? I guess he did some heavy hinting with Wruebell and said some things on BYUTV, but I didn't hear, so I'm not sure how blue the goggles are on those shouting from the rooftops over there.

Were the sources close to the Viking family watching BYUtv recently?Originally posted by Viking View PostSources close to the Viking family confirm that this thread is awesome. Great job!
Oh, and yes, I think we're going to be in the dance soon.
http://www.cougarboard.com/board/mes...tml?id=8196897Did Tom Holmoe slip about the Big 12 on BYUTV tonight?
I was wondering if anyone else caught what Tom Holmoe said when talking about Boise State. He said "It is great to have this regional game scheduled. It will continue year after year even if we move into a conference in the near...(He paused here and as though he were saying to himself, "how in the crap did you let that word near slip out of my mouth?") or anytime in the future. Was I the only one who caught that? I am hoping for the Big 12 so I may have just been hearing things. But why say that if all of this talk about BYU to the big 12 is not true, especially the "near future" part. Please tell me I am not the only one who noticed that.
Maybe BYU will be moving into the new MWC/C-USA super conference in the near... or anytime in the future."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
"I honestly believe saying someone is a smart lawyer is damning with faint praise. The smartest people become engineers and scientists." -SU.
"Yet I still see wisdom in that which Uncle Ted posts." -creek.

I bet Deloss Dodds told him to say that as part of Texas' effort to force the world to accept BYU into the Big 12.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostWere the sources close to the Viking family watching BYUtv recently?

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

We are more attractive but we have a very effective chastity belt. When we got undressed a few months ago everyone saw it and said why bother? I am not sure what has changed because I think we are still wearing that chastity belt.Originally posted by New Mexican Disaster View PostIf only we can be more attractive than Cincinnati and their tremendous history.Last edited by Flystripper; 02-14-2012, 09:04 AM.Dyslexics are teople poo...
