That's how we in-house guys roll. Except that 6pm is a bit late, no?

It is a billboard welcoming BYU to the West Coast Conference. I assume it was paid for by the WCC months ago. However, it is also possible that it was done recently as a last ditch effort to keep BYU around for awhile longer.

Interesting to see so many conferences fighting over BYU in the past year.

I took a pic yesterday evening but obviously it was at the worst time of day. The sun was right in the pic. You can barely make out the billboard.

      Has anyone else noticed it?

PS as an FYI, the sun really isn't that close to Earth.

Does BYU have lawyers? I presumed the spirit was enough.

True story: I sat in on a few BYU law classes once when I was visiting (this is after I had graduated from law school elsewhere). It was...um...interesting.

                    That's not a story.

The interesting thing about stories is that they can be whatever you want it to be.

                        I'm not buying this story.

I don't believe it was interesting though.

                            • I have a story.
I sat in on a JRC law school class before I went to law school. It was excellent. I was later waiting tables at Sundance and the JRC professor came in and ordered an adult beverage. Later during his meal I reminded him that I knew who he was from a class and he went into a long explanation of the Honor Code rules related to non-LDS professors. I told him my thoughts on the Honor Code and gave him another adult beverage on the house as a gift. We were very friendly and he gave me a good tip. His wife was nice too. That is all.

I'm not saying this is unbelievable, but it's less believable than nikuman's story. At least for me it is.
