OU offers nothing the execs look for: no novelty, no large tv market, and no guarantee of a competitive game. Texas, on the other hand, has a larger fan base and tv market than any other team in the country, sells oodles of gear, is a strong bowl team, and is a no-brainer as an at-large.

How long before it overtakes Pac 10 Expansion Groundswell? Any guesses? I predict it happens by the time Conference games start in the MWC. (I'm assuming there will still be nothing really happening.)
