I think this is response to the latest rumor of aTm, Mizzou, FSU, and NC State (didn't see that one coming) joining the SEC. That would be bad and would change everything.

I know, I have always thought that Iowa St. would be a better fit in the B1G than in the BIG12. The problem is with the current situation in college football Iowa St. doesn't add anything to the B1G in terms of market value. Thus, it would never happen.

It doesnt make any sense. That would be like Arizona going to the Big 12.

Clarification: It makes sense from the BIG12's point of view to go after them. It doesn't make sense for Iowa. See my post above.

I could see Arizona and Arizona St. Leaving the PAC12 for the BIG12 before Iowa leaves the B1G

                  • You know there is a lot of Big 12 love for BYU when even Baylor fans want us...

I like how their poll adds up to over 165%. This must be some kind of new math they teach down there.

It takes a whole lotta school to replace A&M.

Well you can select multiple options so the poll is somewhat misleading. But yeah, BYU appears to be the clear favorite.

A fan of a team running the Wishbone complaining of the opposition not being called for holding? LOL.

An interesting fact of the "Game of the Century" - 11/25/71: #1 Nebraska 35 #2 Oklahoma 31 - was that there were no penalites called.

Besides, it was clipping that the refs missed on Johnny Rodgers punt return for a TD (not holding):

Yes, I'm aware of all this. My son was actually watching the latter #1-2 Big Red matchup just yesterday.

Because evidently Pickens has no love for Nebraska (or Missouri or Colorado either) because the Huskers have wanted to leave the conference since 1940 (before Okie St. joined). Perhaps he doesn't regularly do business in those states.
