Any Truth to the BYU/Big-12 Rumors?

Public company founder offering corporate money to benefit his preferred local college? Sounds like a derivative lawsuit waiting to happen. Not really your typical corporate charitable giving. I'm sure it could pass muster as a advertising i.e. a corporate sponsorship, but still, I'm buying some stock and suing if this happens.Originally posted by BlueHair View PostFedEx has pulled their Orange Bowl sponsorship and is offering any BCS conference $10 million per year to invite Memphis.

Rumor has it Arkansas is sending out feelers regarding a potential move to the Big 12.
BYU's 2nd-biggest barrier to becoming a part of a BCS conference (#1: sunday play) is a dance partner."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay
"Hot Lunch posted awhile back on this. He knows more than anyone except for maybe BO."-Seattle Ute

My wife's from Arkansas and we met at BYU. I can think of few more strange bedfellows. (Arkansas and BYU, not my wife and me)Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostRumor has it Arkansas is sending out feelers regarding a potential move to the Big 12.

UCF and Memphis likely to the Big East?

These teams that are getting in to BCS conferences worked hard and deserve to be where they are today. If only BYU could have put as much importance on athletic achievement as these two teams they might be in a BCS conference today.

BYU could end up being a big disappointment like Utah is to the Pac 10 if it really gets circulated around that Notre Dame is a real possibility for the Big XII.

We need to have pelagius update our query so that we don't get anything from the Bleacher Report.Originally posted by beelzebabette View Postrumor > wild speculation > Bleacher Report"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right?
