Any Truth to the BYU/Big-12 Rumors?

Texas was always going to be fine. The SEC, Big 10 and/or Pac 16 were all very good fall back positions. It's not like they were dealing with Missouri's set of cards. And even if they did have one foot out the door, that doesn't mean that it was done deal. Again, I was listening to the Austin ESPN radio feed on Wednesday or Thursday last week and there was absolutely no doubt, they were acting like it had already occurred and that was because of Chip Brown's reporting.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

To the extent that Dallas was a neutral site, sure. But yeah, Utah's clearly got us beat on those grounds.Originally posted by USS UtahOregon 2009.

Last BYU road win (neutral site) against BCS team: Oregon St. 2009
Last Utah road win (non-neutral site) against BCS team: Michigan 2008
Last BYU road win (non-neutral site) against BCS team: Washington 2008.
Last time BYU played BCS team on the road (non-neutral site): Washington 2008.
I have to admit that Utah needs to find a way to win Pac-10 road games. Their last Pac-10 road win (non-neutral site) was at Arizona in 2004.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

Hmm. Irony isn't your strongest suit, isn't it? Never mind, then.Originally posted by USS UtahTry to keep up yourself, I covered bowl games and neutral sites games in my list.
Anyway, thanks for the research. It proves my point well enough.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν
