This is the main reason the PAC wants Utah. If you count the Utes as a member of the PAC that year the record shifts to 9-6 in favor of the PAC. Thanks, Utah!Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThe sad thing is the top 3 teams in the Mountain West will still kick the shit out of the Pac-10 year in and year out. Those of you acting like losing the rivalry is not a big deal are only doing so because you are scared shitless to get your ass kicked by a "mid-major" like BYU. What will happen after BYU kicks your ass in 2011 is we will hear all about how Utah needs a few years to establish themselves in the Pac-10. When it happens again in 2012 we will hear about how Utah has to weed out all of the Mountain West caliber athletes and get Pac-10 athletes in there. Then when Heaps is a senior in 2013 and we kick the shit out of you again it will be because we have a senior QB and it is BYUs best team in 20 years.
When we break in a new qb in 2014 and smash your faces in once again, I can only imagine what excuses Ute fans will come up with.

We aren't acting superior. We're just the same. We'rejust being. It's your insecurity talking. You guys are melting down; we're just Utes. Even PAC is expressing terrible bitterness. Not an impressive show.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThat most of the Ute fans on here are already acting so high and mighty that because they will be in the Pac-10 they are immediately a better school, program, etc. Its amazing what the BCS does to people the same whiny ass Ute fans that have been complaining about the BCS for the past 10 years, are now 100% in agreement with it and immediately start looking down on the lowly Mountain West.

I am envious, not bitter (seriously, if you regard my lone quip as evidence of terrible bitterness, you have merely bolstered your board persona has having a remarkably limited worldview). I do agree you're being the same, however.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostWe aren't acting superior. We're just the same. We'rejust being. It's your insecurity talking. Not your best effort. It is becoming really obvious that you don't believe a word you are saying. So you are predicting 4 straight wins for BYU in the rivalry, when was the last time BYU pulled that off.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThat most of the Ute fans on here are already acting so high and mighty that because they will be in the Pac-10 they are immediately a better school, program, etc. Its amazing what the BCS does to people the same whiny ass Ute fans that have been complaining about the BCS for the past 10 years, are now 100% in agreement with it and immediately start looking down on the lowly Mountain West.

Not just four straight wins. Four straight ass-kickings. You have to go back to the Tom Lovat days to find the only time BYU beat Utah by more than 10 points in consecutive games in SLC.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostNot your best effort. While I don't believe that going to the Pac-12 immediately raises the level of Utah and solves every single issue with the program, it is going to have a positive affect on the program. So that may be something to build upon, but you also are going to have a tougher time because this will improve Utah's recruiting and financial situation. An extra 19 million per year and better television distribution is an advantage.Originally posted by cougjunkie View Post3 of the last 4 is something to build upon.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression
