Are you telling me USC couldn't find enough players to fill their 25? They only offered 18.

It isn't that simple. The number varies year to year depending on how early enrollees and how many mission "sign and sends" you get.

If you are going to use USC as the benchmark for success, please post in the "This is for TripletDaddy" thread, where you can acknowledge the need to catch USC's spills with cupped palms, bent over and madly chasing the majestic Trojan.

Regardless of percentages, BYU still signed more players with other offers (14) than Utah did (11).

That is a fact I cannot argue, except that Radley signed since then.

I'm just not certain it is the best way to judge progress.

But I'm sure you disagree since that means BYU doesn't come out on top... which they don't anyway since TCU is kicking both our asses. LOL

Not all of the U's recruits are USC spills.

Truthfully, I don't pretend to know how to rate any of these classes. Seems like BYU, Utah and TCU all had good days, but for different reasons.

Looking the classes, the best offers top to bottom is TCU, almost every kid in their class has solid BCS offers. The best top of the class is BYU in regards to offers but the bottom of BYUs class is pretty weak (early commits really hurt in this category. Utah has a few guys (Payne, Cullen, Fehoko) with really solid offers but the majority of the teams the were competing with were mediocre mid-majors.

Utah and TCU went head to head way more than Utah and BYU. TCU actually dominated that matchup. However Utah and UTEP went head to head on almost every recruit and Utah killed UTEP. UTEP might have offered every kid in the state of Texas.

Based on offers it has to go:

                1. TCU
                2. BYU
                3. Utah
Just curious about something, could junkie or someone else bold the players on these three lists that are LDS?

Are these actual offers or "recruited by". I thought Fehoko only had 3 offers.

And that is after Utah had a number of highly touted commits from Texas decommit. Some of the late signees were 2nd choice for Utah.
