Looking the classes, the best offers top to bottom is TCU, almost every kid in their class has solid BCS offers. The best top of the class is BYU in regards to offers but the bottom of BYUs class is pretty weak (early commits really hurt in this category. Utah has a few guys (Payne, Cullen, Fehoko) with really solid offers but the majority of the teams the were competing with were mediocre mid-majors.

Utah and TCU went head to head way more than Utah and BYU. TCU actually dominated that matchup. However Utah and UTEP went head to head on almost every recruit and Utah killed UTEP. UTEP might have offered every kid in the state of Texas.

Based on offers it has to go:

    1. TCU
    2. BYU
    3. Utah

Nice work. TCU is going to be good for a long time, especially if they can maintain a mistake-free qb after Dalton is finished. They have Utah type speed.

Seems like they were competing with whatever is below mid-major for Fehoko.

I was looking at TCU's list, if those reported 40 times are accurate, they're fast as hell top to bottom.

Did Fehoko really have offers from all of those schools? I'm having a hard time buying that one.

the accuracy should be close. The main writers for a specific site/school are the ones that typically keep the offer list for that up to date. Now maintainence is as issue. If a offer is rescinded, then it rarely is removed from the offer list for that school.

Nice breakdown. We will just have to out execute them. I learned on CB several years ago that execution and character are way more important than talent.

Scout lists Hawai'i, Texas Tech, Utah, Utah State, Washington, Colorado for Fehoko.

That's more believable given that all but Utah and TT are doormats in their respective conferences.

This is about your 10th post bagging on Fehoko. I am trying to understand your angst.

It's simple. Fehoko didn't want to play at BYU.

not a single TCU recruit had an offer from Texas?

It also looks like per this list, not a single recruit from any of these 3 schools had an offer from SC, Texas, or Florida? Or Oklahoma (not sure about that one)?

Did Heaps have offers from any of those schools?

No angst, just trying to have some fun given! (and trying to understand why the hype)

In all honesty, I don't get why BYU didn't want him. **** rivals, *** scout, and played in the Army game. CJ mentioned that BYU signed some guys who were class filler, so I don't get why they wouldn't make Fehoko an offer, even if they just considered him filler. I understand they made their evaluation of him and decided not to pursue, but with that resume and being LDS I kind of don't understand why you wouldn't at least take a chance on him. Oh well, apparently other schools agreed with BYU that his talent didn't match his resume as the schools that really pushed for him don't seem to match up with what you would expect of a kid in that position. I guess we'll see if those schools made a mistake...
