I just hope his knees are sturdier than whyOHIO's! Not that is saying much, Medicine Bill Cartright and Mitch Kupchak have sturdier knees than whyOHIO.

I think it's safe to say pops put a stop to it all,

#BYU commit Butch Pauu not taking any other recruiting trips, his father told me today. An Internet report Tuesday said he would take trips.

Good for him! I think his pops might also be in the BYU to the Big 12 camp.

Glad to hear Butch is still solid and not trippin'. Also, hopefully this means we may have a shot at little bro in a few years.

Freshman QB Austen Kafentzis for Jordan High is slaying it right now. They just advanced to the semifinals with a 43-7 win over Viewmont.

He has thrown for 3,200 yards 24 tds and only 5 ints on the year. He has also ran for 1600 yards and 12 tds.

He is listed at 6'2 200 and is tearing up Utah high school football.

Also Jordan has a linebacker named Hayden Babka I think he might be a bit undersized to play D-1 but he is killing it as well 106 tackles, 7.5 sacks and 5 ints so far this year.

if he repeats this another 2 years, he may become the biggest recruit out of this state in some time.

                  He's a freshman. A freshman. Amazing.

Does anyone know....does he have ties to the U., BYU or any other school?

Big upset in your neck of the woods Cedar with a big win over Delta. John Ursua played at Westlake right by my house last year and he is fun to watch.

Also Chase Hansen has thrown for 3600 yards 36tds and 4ints he has also ran for over 1000 yards.

Riley Nelsons little brother DJ has 2600 pssing yards 40tds and 6ints as well as 800 rushing yards for Logan.

I have watched a few Cedar games. Good to see they won tonight. I watched when Highland rolled over the top of Cedar. It was U.G.L.Y. Ursua is a great athlete, but I don't know why he has Utah/BYU offers. If he wants to play D-1, USU, UNLV would be more his level IMO. He would be an absolute stud at Weber or SUU.

I don't think the kid is LDS. I doubt that will prevent BYU from pursuing. I'm sure he will have offers from all over the place. He has been generating a lot of buzz all season.

How tall is he, he looks like 5'9 or 5'10 165 in the highlights I saw. He can still potentially grow though.

Maybe all I saw was some handheld endzone cam of 1 play, so not the best judging material, but he looked like Kuresa type build.
