How much are they paying him for his stellar record of bowl eligibility? How big of a Nike bag was needed?
I wonder why Peterson turned them down. Or is he going to Texas? I thought it would be Peterson. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

0-12 is far below what Husky fans should expect. His predecessor seems to have retired in place and even had mental or emotional problems. To say he improved on 0-12 is to damn with faint praise. Recognizing the Phil Knight phenomenon and Stanford's cache for academics, the Huskies still really ought over the long haul to be a dominant team in the Pac 12 North. Sark had five years and the team seems to have plateaued. Husky fans should be ready for a change. It wasn't time to make a change, but they should not be lamenting a change. On the other hand, USC fans need to hope he's become a better coach while at Washington and is still yet to show how good he's become.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostI think the point was given what they were experiencing before he arrived memories seem short. 0-12 the season before he was hired. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

People who call in to those shows are losers.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostYou weren't listening to sports radio in the town then. You mean SeattleUte was being less than objective about someone affiliated with BYU?Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostYou weren't listening to sports radio in the town then. It was much more whining of "how could he do this! That liar!" Than good riddance last night.

Beyond the 0-12, they hadn't had a winning season in the five seasons prior. His 8 regular season win this year is only the 5th time the Huskies have won 8 or more games in the last TWENTY years. I don't know what Husky fans think their program is, but the plateau he had them on wasn't all bad given their history in the last, I don't know, two decades. So Russell...what do you love about music?
