Nah. it is pretty much a home game every year.

But for some reason, the Ruins never seem to make the return trip to the Coliseum

Expo Line finally opens, with 3 stops servicing SC campus. Great news on game day for those that don't want to pay a lot to park. Will also help ease congestion getting back onto the 110.

Of course, the city asked the band to play Conquest as the Expo Line busted out of the tunnel and through a celebratory banner. Only the most elite schools are serviced by light rail or subway. Can I get an amen from my Ute brethren!

Dillon Baxter, full-time moran, has transferred after being kicked off the team at SDSU. He will now attend Baker University....an NAIA school in Baldwin City, Kansas.

Kiff is turning out to have improved decision-making skills compared to his initial days as a head coach. Everyone said his dad was too old to coach the D. Turns out his dad just needed time to implement his system. Dumping Baxter seemed crazy at the time, turned out Baxter is a major headcase that is bouncing from school to school and has destroyed his future. His refusal to allow Armond Armstead a chance to play (SC docs wouldn't clear him) cost SC the commit of his little brother......but look what happened to Armond in the NFL draft this past week.....every team passed on him. Why? Medical reasons. Kiff made the right call there, too.

All things considered, I think Kiff has done well since his arrival. I was skeptical but he has earned some props, i suppose.

Tee Martin brings in his first big recruiting haul.......4-star WR Eldridge Massington out of Mesquite, TX.

That is five commits for the incoming class.....two 5-stars, three 4-stars. This class is a monster so far. Also, very interesting going into Texas and nabbing a prize recruit like this. Kid has a really nice offer list...Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, etc....but interestingly, no offer from Texas.

SC just landed Ty Isaac, 5-star and #1 overall RB in the country. Best of all, they swiped him right out of Notre Dame's back yard. Domers can have Amir Carlisle, I guess.

This class is sick. 6 commits, 2 of them are #1 overall at their position.

SC has a huge need at RB. The focus recently seems to have drifted towards WRs. With Curtis McNeal graduating after this year, Ty Isaac is going to have the opportunity to come right in and compete. I am sure that played a huge role in his decision.

Interesting comments by Isaac in this article about his decision to choose SC

This week, another of the nation's top backs, Justin Davis, is slated to make a college choice and USC is the front runner. Isaac says that won't affect Davis and it won't affect him.

"We've spoken and it's all good. You've got one goal in mind. I'm coming to do my thing, he's coming to do his thing and we're going to push each other to be better. I think, you look everywhere and they're running two backs in every system. Obviously we both welcome the competition, and we're looking forward to doing some big things in the offense."

Justin Davis to announce today at 6PM pacific.

He is the top rated back in CA and #5 overall in the country. He is down to SC, Kal, and Washington. If he commits to SC, that would give SC the #1 RB and the #5 RB in the same week.

At USC, depth chart and tradition stand out for Davis.

"They really made me feel like they needed me to continue their legacy," said Davis after his unofficial visit to Los Angeles. "They made me feel like they've got to have me. I've been impressed with their academic programs and the degree they offer also."

Holy smokes. 7 commits that break down as follows:

                          #1 QB in the country
                          #1 RB in the country
                          #2 DT in the country
                          #3 RB in the country
2 top 10 players (CB and DE)
                          1 top 25 player (WR)

CEO is doing work and this class is going to start a viral movement. Other top players will now come to be a part of it all.

I also love how CEO is spreading out all over the country this year and last. Lock down CA but cast a wide net nationally, skim for the cream of the crop.

You hear that Robert Nkemdiche?! CEO is coming for you. :usc:

Matt Barkley is hot, saves Haitians, doesn't want to pay taxes

                            http://blogs.laweekly.com/informer/2...eople_2012.php

His reluctance to cash in early may land him in the pantheon of Trojan greats. But whatever happens next, Barkley says, he "wouldn't give back this experience for anything." Besides, he adds, "I wasn't ready to pay taxes yet."

Continuing their march toward global dominance, it was not surprising to find the Trojan Marching Band playing a concert in Trafalgar Square in front of the National Gallery.
