This all speaks such volumes. You all rooted against Utah in the SUG last year. You were all in speechless agony when they won. You adopted TCU as your team agaisnt Boise. Now, Boise is the new Messiah. It's all about putting down the Utes. That's all you all live for ultimately. Hate. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

That has nothing to do with anything in this thread. Kind of early in the day to be on the sauce, isn't it?Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostFlorida would have killed Boise this year in the SUG. I'm not being hyperbolic.

That was a long time ago and a lot has changed since them. The biggest being the limit to 85 scholarships and football gaining popularity producing a bigger pool of recruits to choose from.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostThere is more than truth to it, there is historical precedent with ASU. ... I suspect we would see BSU in far fewer BCS bowl games, but I base that on how it turned out for ASU.
I really think there is more parity now than there was back then.

How is this not debatable? Did Utah lose to Oregon? Check. Did Utah lose to TCU? Check.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostUtah would have been 12-0 with Boise's schedule, in this, a rebuilding year. That's not debatable. Utah was one drive away from winning at Eugene. Give Whit 6 weeks to prepare and a neutral field agaisnt TCU and he wins.I'm your huckleberry.

Did he use the scientific method to determine this? Where is his raw data?Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostLook dumbass, Seattle has cleared up that Peterson did not coach BSU in its first BCS bowl.
I wonder what Peterson was doing on the sidelines with the headset on against OU. Maybe Hawkins was transmitting the plays to Z by ansible from his couch in Boulder."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Umm.. Dan Hawkins last game was Dec. 28, 2005. Chris Petersen coached all of 2006 including the Fiesta Bowl.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Post
Peterson has one BCS bowl win, and it wasn't even against a BCS team. His predecessor who's about to be fired at Colorado won the first Boise BCS bowl. You're all so simplistic in your thinking. It's like an ingrained habit. I wonder where that comes from.
What was that about simplistic thinking?

Technically Urban Meyer coached the game.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostTechnically, Whittingham was the head coach when the U won the Fiesta Bowl.
[Edit] Contrary to Seattle's claim, this isn't hating on Bronco or Kyle, simply ranking coaches on their performance on the biggest stage.Last edited by SloanHater; 01-05-2010, 09:14 AM.

I'm just saying that we should give Kyle credit for 1.5 wins.Originally posted by SloanHater View PostTechnically Urban Meyer coached the game.
