There is more than truth to it, there is historical precedent with ASU. ... I suspect we would see BSU in far fewer BCS bowl games, but I base that on how it turned out for ASU.

That was a long time ago and a lot has changed since them. The biggest being the limit to 85 scholarships and football gaining popularity producing a bigger pool of recruits to choose from.

I really think there is more parity now than there was back then.

Peterson has one BCS bowl win, and it wasn't even against a BCS team. His predecessor who's about to be fired at Colorado won the first Boise BCS bowl. You're all so simplistic in your thinking. It's like an ingrained habit. I wonder where that comes from.

Umm.. Dan Hawkins last game was Dec. 28, 2005. Chris Petersen coached all of 2006 including the Fiesta Bowl.
