It's only because you begged me not to make a scene and I didn't want to embarrass you.

The Dude, on the other hand, is much more willing to let idiots have it. When he invited my wife and I to a Jazz game, I actually had to stop him from storming the court to get in Dwight Howard's face, because he felt Howard couldn't hear Lebowski hollerin' "I'll show you Superman you little punk!"

But at some point he needs to atone for this in some way. If for nothing else for himself. I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of action in the next couple of days on his part to admit his mistake and try to make it right.

        • Yeah, we make quite a pair. You should have seen IPU when this kid stole our car and left his homework in the backseat. Hoo boy.

See what happens, Larry? This is is what happens when you...well, you know the rest.

I was still able to scream at that point.

Big talk. I bet you've never once ripped a sign in half in your whole life.

Probably. At that point I was going on adrenaline so it's hard to say. When I tried to sing hymns the next morning I sounded pretty funny.

I was simply pointing out a fact that I learned by Googling "Iron Bowl." So I didn't know either. It's OK, we were ignorant together.

Had you been in my ward nobody would have noticed, we don't have the typical level of Mormon musical "talent".

So you all won't mind if I simply hum along? I'll try to visit sometime.
