  • I saw a couple of these around, but didn't have my camera:

I got one of these for each of my sons the day before the game:

    I love stuff like this:

    And this cracked me up:

That's for a bowl game. It's a bit different no?
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

The Iron Bowl is what they call the annual rivalry game between Auburn and Alabama.

I saw a bunch of those on Saturday. I like the idea of a spirit shirt for rival games.

The post-game shirt, not so much.

                  • ALUFs have to love going to games at RES. I know my neighbor across the street is as dyed-in-the-wool red as it is possible to be, and in 2010 he gave his tickets away because he just couldn't take the cognitive dissonance of attending a Utah home game (by his own admission).

                      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

                        Go get 'em, Suspender Boy!!!

The Sikh dude appears to be getting a kick out the sign.

But at least that UofUtah coed is giving it the indifferent USA gymnast treatment.

No cognitive dissonance for me because I realize that there are assholes in every fanbase. Why should I let the assholes in red ruin the fun for me?

Question: Had you been sitting next to this guy with the sign, would you say anything to him?

There is no right or wrong answer here. Just curious.

Done with what? The BSU game isn't until Thursday so I figure we've got another day and a half of this talk.
