I respect a general hatred of a rival, but in the abstract, this Gigantes team is pretty likable, a bunch of lovable eccentrics, overachievers and redemption stories. I went 57 years without a World Series win (the '62 Series broke my ten-year old heart, and I hated it when the Bums swept the same Yankees a year later), and am now looking at the possibility of two in three years.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostComment
