I liked Kruk and Kuip talking about him squeezing both butt cheeks. Actually, it was a little awkward, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I'm a little concerned seeing the Padres rack up the runs on the Braves now, as it seems so painfully difficult for the Giants to get any hits. Hopefully the panda continues to heat up, but seeing all these double plays is painful.

The record for most double plays in a season by a team is 174 by the 1990 BoSox. The Giants are on pace for 324. Although yesterday there were none and they were 3 for 5 with RISP and those 3 RBIs were with 2 outs. So perhaps some hope. Anything less than 2 wins in this series will be a disappointment to me.

And yes, I'm aware Pujols is on pace for 116 home runs, so my GIDP extrapolation is a little extreme, i'm jussayin.

I hope the Giants continue to hit I think when they get Fred Lewis back to bolster the bench and Freddy Sanchez to hit in the 2 hole they will be even better offensively.

I just saw that. I am pissed the game is not on MLB extra innings tonight because they are showing it on NBC in the Bay area.

Looks like it will be MW2 for me instead.

Giants laying the smack down today on LA. Haeger was awful looked like a little leaguer out there. Also the Dodgers have made a ton of errors. Giants have had the first two batters of the inning reach base in 5 straight innings.

Haeger did look awful. I had already chalked this up as a loss for the Dodgers when I looked at the pitching match-up.
