Well, probably a big black jacket and Giants cap for me. I believe PAC is applying body paint at the office right now.

Also, I noticed that the seats can be seen on every pitch in HD, but SD only shows these seats when a right hander is up and he backs out of the box.

Please promise me that you will heckle the hell out of Andres Torres and the slumping Eugenio Velez.

Had I been going with my fiancee's dad, this would've been a sure bet. She often tells the story of when her dad would give kirk reuter a really hard time and it turned out his wife was sitting right behind them.

        • Sanchez has four starts. He has yet to give up a hit to a lefty. Dirty.

Halladay's ERA before the game: .89. After tonight's start its 1.80. That is still a great ERA, of course, just no longer out of this world.

It's EXTREMELY early in the season, but Lincecum's start on Wednesday will be very interesting in light of the cy young race and Halladay's performance tonight.

I'll take credit for Werth's strikeout with bases loaded, I told him he was going to groundout into a dp, and he was visibly shaken.

You need to tell your dad that it is ok to get up and cheer once in a while, he was not at a BYU game nobody behind him was going to yell at him to sit down.

I think I saw you stand up and yell stuff a couple of times when I was watching, those were some great seats. I made sure to watch in Standard Def out of respect for PAC.

                  • Barry Zito is now 4-0 and he was sick last night. Look at some of these stats:

                    A) Rockies hitters went 0-for-6 with four strikeouts against his curveball. In five starts this season, Zito has not allowed a hit with the curveball (batters are 0-for-35 with 11 strikeouts).

                    B) He threw 38 pitches inside, getting hitters to miss on 41.7 percent of them.

                    C) He finished off batters when getting two strikes; the Rockies were 1-for-15 in those situations.

Also Giants starters lead the majors with a 2.44 era.

Lincecums line on the season: 4-0 1.27 era, 43ks in 35 innings, .82 whip
                    Johnathan Sanchez: 2-1 1.85 era, 33ks in 24 innings, 1.11 whip
                    Barry Zito: 4-0 1.53 era, .84 WHIP

Once Matt Cain gets going this team is going to be even better, Cain is not having a bad start but nothing compared to the other 3.

                    Cains numbers: 0-1, 3.60 era, 1.18 WHIP.

Cain has to be one of the most unlucky pitchers in the last 3 years, when you consider run support and blown saves in games he has pitched.

Seriously it is sickening. I would hate my teammates if I was Matt Cain.

Cain pitched a gem today, 7 innings, 1 hit, 8 ks. He leaves with a 5-0 lead. Lets see if the Giants pen can get him the win.

                            • What is going on with El Gigantes? Giants are 0-5 against The Fathers and 18-9 vs the rest of the league.

The Padres own them this year. They have one more in SF tonight and then start a 3 game set in San Diego on Monday. I know its early but these next 4 games are big if the Giants want to keep pace.

That was a pitiful series. Don't be too too downtrodden, I'll be attending tomorrow night, and the last time I attended they beat up on Halladay, so I hope to re-energize this team.
