Steve Blake looks like a terminally ill patient, I hope he's okay.

Boy, if any team can harness dysfunction, it's the Lakers. World's Apart is killing it on defense.

That was a killer shot by Kobe.

I will be shocked if this laker team wins 2 games against OKC.

Pow stepped up tonight. He also just cussed on TV.

Agreed. I almost hoped they'd lose so we could be rid of Mike Brown. Almost.

LAL might get swept this round. That has only happened once (Utah and San Antonio). The good news is that after the sweep by the Spurs, LAL hired a new coach.

OKC is better than the Lakers.

I'm not even sure that it is close. OKC running the floor well, shooting better, they have a better defensive plan to counter LAL size, they are penetrating to the basket at will, and seem to be getting all the 50/50 balls. The crazy thing is that LAL is shooting around 45%, not exactly horrible, but OKC is shooting in the fifties.

For as much as Brown is touted as a defensive coach, I don't see much difference in how the lakers handle the pick and roll vs how they did with Jax....iow, they get burned over and over. And while Sessions is an upgrade over Fish, in the first round we just saw another PG look like an all-star vs LAL in the playoffs. SSDD.

Brown needs to pull the starters. This game is dead.

Last night was painful. If the Lakers hold on to that game last night they had a real shot in the series. Now...not so much.

The Lakers are done. And they have to play back-to-back playoff games on Friday and Saturday (as do the Clippers this weekend) because the City of Los Angeles is so awesomely dominant right now that Staples Center is hosting 4 NBA playoff games, 2 NHL playoff games, and the end of the Tour of California all within a 5 day stretch.
