Well Lakers are going down. I guess they're not going 82-0.

Yeah good call. When you factor in that Kobe started 2-10 I believe he rebounded to have an okay night. Besides, he shouldn't have had to come back in to the game when he left the 3rd. The Lakers were up by 8 before they decided not to play defense and allow the 16-0 run.

At least he stayed aggressive. Pau was pissing me off last night. He didn't get a few whistles that I think he should have and then he just mailed it in. Two plays stick out. He has Arrington in the post with no double team. He moves to the middle of the paint and instead of putting up the baby hook he kicks it out and his pass is intercepted. Then the Lakers get the ball up quick. Denver is slow to get back. Pau gets the ball at the FT line with just Lawson between he and the basket and he kicks it out to Shannon Brown.

I don't know if I am more pissed at how they lost that game or that I stayed up until 1:30 AM to the finish. I can't wait for next week's road trip so I can finish some games by 11 PM.

Lakers finally play a decent team away from home and they lose. Interesting.

Seems a lot like the Utes.

              Unacceptable!

Karma for not watching the game, I suppose. This is not the way i like to start my Funky Fridays.

Soft Pau was back last night for sure. LO's game was probably more disappointing for me given the way he has started this season. Only six FGA for him is disappointing considering they have nobody who can guard him. Bright spots were obviously Artest, who even pushed around Melo a little on the offensive end, and Shannon who has been consistently strong off the bench. You know it's going to be a tough night when Pau is unable to dominate Al Harrington without even demanding a double team. When you get that sort of effort from the other guys, you get the nights where Kobe puts up 32 shots, and these Lakers become very beatable.

In an off night they had a 14 point lead in the late 3rd quarter against one of the better Western Conference home teams. Everybody is going to lose at least 15-20. This team is just fine and more talented than I can remember in a long time.

Oh, I am not worried. Interestingly enough the two best players last night Brown and Artest also led the Lakers in negative point differential when they were on the floor last night.

Good hell. You're not going to win many games the way the Suns are shooting tonight. It'd be nice if the Lakers could defend the 3 point line.

Now that the undefeated thing is gone, what is the new angle to keep interested? I thought these guys were hungry. Lately they've been playing as though they are very full.

It would also be nice if they used their size advantage in the paint.

They've actually been killing them in the paint.

Huge no call on an obvious hack. Hedo was just trying to foul to keep LO from scoring. Odom reacts to not getting the foul and gets shaped with the T. What could have been a 1 point gets pushed to a 3 point lead.
