I am sure the opportunity to be a head coach somewhere has nothing to do with it.Originally posted by Surfah View PostInteresting. I wonder if he feels spurned. I have heard rumblings that the Lakers will belong to Shaw when Phil retires. I wonder if that's why he's leaving.*Banned*

it is the timing that is weird. however, if Rambis inks a 3 year with Minnesota, by guess is that PJ will be about ready to retire.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI am sure the opportunity to be a head coach somewhere has nothing to do with it.
Unless they sign Lebron.
Rambis was just offered the Sacramento job last month (or late June). He said no thanks.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Good for him. I am happy. Much rather see him there in Minne than Sacto. He'll be back. Hopefully later than sooner, because that means he's having success there. But he'll be back someday I am sure of it.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Post"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

I think that is a good move for him. Minnesota has a lot of young talent. He can't do any worse. It is a team with a bright future IMO.
Will he bring the triangle to the Original Home of the Lakers?I'm your huckleberry.

I don't think he will but I will be interested to see what he does.Originally posted by FN Phat View PostI think that is a good move for him. Minnesota has a lot of young talent. He can't do any worse. It is a team with a bright future IMO.

Expectations are low for that club, so you are correct that it is probably a good move. He is going to have a miserable first season, though. That has to be a major buzzkill, going from the Lakers and a championship to a team that you know before first tip-off that it won't even make the playoffs.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Shaquille O'Neal returned to his car-- after enjoying a fine meal at Subway -- to find a magazine with Kobe Bryant on the cover stuck to his windshield.
